Defensive & Special Teams scores consist of kickoff or punt returns, interceptions or fumbles that are returned for a touchdown or any faked kick that ends up in a touchdown and all safeties.  Anytime your defensive or special teams is on the field and scores you receive the points, except on successful field goal or extra point kicks.  Any extra point that is run or passed in goes to the player(s) who scores under PAT scoring.  Interceptions and fumbles recoveries are one point each regardless if there is another score involved. (e.g. an interception returned for a touchdown is worth seven points).
